Slumber Party

The Girl is having a sleep over tonight which has brought back a lot of memories from my sleepover days. The Boy is having his own sleep over at Grandma's house & The Baby is having a sleep over in his crib with his monkey friends. 

I am SO happy for her finally making some friends and getting to have someone stay over. I can count on one hand the number of sleepovers she has had, and she's in the 2nd grade. By 2nd grade I was way past counting on fingers and toes. All of her sleep overs have been just her and 1 other child, most of mine were the same way, but several times there were lots of girls, 3-12 girls at a time, talk about craziness! I had one best friend who practically lived with us. 

I have hoped and prayed for her to find a group of girl friends like I had when I was little, but I guess the times have changed & life is just different now... but I am SO excited that she has a hand full of close friends. 

Here's to yesterdays & todays & many more slumber parties to come.

Tomorrow we're off to the pumpkin farm :)
